Mount Rainier

The Snowy-white peak of Mount Rainier contains 25 named glaciers- the largest glacier stystem nin the United States, outside of Canada. Below the timberline, heavy precipitation supports dense forests of Douglas fir, western hemlock, Sitka spruce, western red cedar, and a colorful bouquet of wildflowers. Here the blossoms of spring grace the banks of Tipsoo Lake. Thank you Allison.
