The South Gothic Suite was once the bedroom of William Randolph Hearst in the 1930's. The room is decorated with photographs and paintings of the sentimental value, including pictures of his parents and maternal grandparents.

Billiard Room - One of the most notable tapestries in Hearst's collection is the mille fleurs, literally meaning thousands of flowers, which depicts a stag hunt and was completed in the 1500's. At the east-end of Hearst's private library hangs a portrait of the publisher at age 30, which was painted by his childhood friend Orrin Peck.
Beverly said this was one of her favorite stops on her trip.
