This gate was erected in 1905 by the Government, as an entrance to Point Park, where the Battle Above the Clouds was fought in November 1863.
Here the Park is located in New York's beautiful $100,00. Peace Monument.
At the point of the mountain is Umbrella Rock and famous view of Moccasin Bend.
