Rufus Cable & M.S. Beach

Surveyors Rufus Cable & M. S. Beach traveled through Pikes Peak region in 1859 exclaiming, "Why this is a fit place for the Gods to assemble. We can call it the Garden of the Gods," and so it has been called ever since.
Beverly brought this postcard back with her from her trip to Colorado.
